April Showers

Yesterday was very rainy, but also very relaxing. I had my Nutrition and OIM labs back to back in the morning (it actually began to hail as I walking from one to the other), but right after our classes were through, Tom and I decided to finally put my car to use and venture off campus for a little while.

First, we drove over to the northern side of campus where I took photos for the Daily Collegian of a newly erected sculpture that was created to raise awareness of drunk driving.

We then headed right across the street and explored the Integrated Science Building for the first time ever. I have to admit, I'm extremely jealous of everyone who has the pleasure of attending class in there. The building is gorgeous! I definitely need to make the effort to walk over there more often.

Finally, we headed over to Puffer's Pond, one of the many beautiful conservations only 15 minutes from campus, and took a bunch of photos until my SD card was full. Barely anyone was out with the exception of a few fishermen and dog walkers, and the surrounding woods were overwhelmingly lush and green. It was just so calm, I wish we had stayed longer.

Hopefully I'll be able to take another trip there soon :)

Here's a bunch of photos I took throughout the day:
